Del Norte County Officials created an Ad Hoc Committee in 2024 composed of elected officials, county employees, and True North leaders to create solutions to the unhoused encampments and address the housing crisis. After years of collaboration, the Ad Hoc Committee is moving forward with the construction of a 60-bed emergency shelter and a 60-unit transitional tiny home village—a historic milestone made possible through the Encampment Resolution Fund (ERF). Local residents are invited to a Community Town Hall on April 15 to learn more about the project, ask questions, and hear directly from organizers and partners who’ve worked for years to make this vision a reality.
WHAT:
Community Town Hall to share updates and next steps for the emergency shelter and tiny home village.
WHEN:
Tuesday, April 15, 2025 | 6:00 PM
