True North to host virtual school board candidates forum

True North invites the Del Norte and Tribal Lands community to participate in a non-partisan, public forum with the District 3 and 4 candidates for Del Norte Unified School District Board of Trustees.

The online forum is from 6-7:30 p.m. Sept. 30. To register to watch the forum, go to https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_nK56yEtmT_u6fhVTBr25yQ.

True North officials will ask the candidates questions revolving around the important decisions they make that shape the educational experience for students and families from family engagement to educational equity.

True North is also soliciting questions from the public. Here are the guidelines for your question to be considered:

• Questions should not focus on one particular candidate. All candidates should be able to answer.

• Questions should not directly or indirectly attack one particular candidate.

• Questions should help us and others get to know the candidates better and understand their values.

Submit your questions to [email protected].

True North Organizing Network is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and is not aligned explicitly or implicitly with any candidate or political party. True North does not endorse, support or oppose candidates for office.
