Sea Wolf’s gathering of grommets focused on 1‑2 foot waves on the first day of August 2026. The Northeast Winds did not deter the group of stoked kids, their families or friends.
Alex Landt started this surf competition last year for the kids to showcase their surfing skills and display it to the local community.
Thanks to sponsors donating surfboards, body boards and raffle prizes: Local Boys Surf Shop, Tallans Tires, Stateline Boarding, Recess Sunland and Skate, NLT Designs, Ocean Tribe Bicycles, Gary Mumm, and music by Cool Cat Funk. Also volunteers Daria Rosinskaaia, Aaron Ortega, and Elizabeth Haddad.
10 1st place 8‑12 It was a confidence building experience for all who surfed. The $20 entry fee included use of boards and wetsuit if needed. All proceeds went to the development of Crescent City’s Youth Surf Club.
