At 9:05 a.m., the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office arrested Dean Jones, 62, in the 3100 block of Lake Earl Drive. Charges: Poss cntl sub w/2 or more priors; Possess controlled substance; Cause inj elder/dep adult - Aggravated. Bail was set at $70,000.
At 7:35 p.m., the California Highway Patrol arrested Natasha Mattie Lopez, 44, on U.S. Highway 101 At Washington. Charges: Battery: spouse/ex spouse/date/etc - Simple.
