At 1:22 a.m., officers checked on a vehicle at Tell Boulevard and Kellogg Road near Crescent City. Everything checked out.

At 2:05 a.m., officers made a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 101 and Lopez Street in Smith River. A warning was given.

At 8:22 a.m., caller reported illegal camping at Summer Park Apartments on the 1500 block of Summer Park Court in Crescent City. Officers were unable to make contact.

At 10:27 a.m., caller reported an assault on the 2100 block of Enderts Beach Road in Crescent City.

At 12:59 p.m., caller reported trespassing on the 1200 block of Parkway Drive in Crescent City. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

At 2:23 p.m., caller reported fraud at Ship Ashore Resort Main Office on the 12400 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Smith River.

At 3:02 p.m., caller reported a theft on the 1100 block of U.S. Highway 101 near Crescent City.

At 3:24 p.m., caller reported vandalism on the 1800 block of Northcrest Drive in Crescent City.

At 6:08 p.m., caller reported an assault at Northcrest Drive and Pine Grove Road near Crescent City.

At 7:04 p.m., caller reported suspicious circumstances at Washington and Northcrest in Crescent City. The call was canceled before officers arrived.

Arrests (2)

At 3:45 a.m., the California Highway Patrol arrested Stormie James Ortiz, 24. Charges: DUI combined alcohol and drug.

At 4:30 a.m., the Crescent City Police Department arrested Brennon Thomas Kinzer, 34, at Northcrest and Hoover. Charges: Mfg/sale/etc leaded cane; Carry concealed dirk or dagger; Possess controlled substance; Possess unlawful paraphernalia.
