At 2:45 a.m., the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office arrested Jason Andrew Thomas, 56, on Elk Valley Road. Charges: Poss cntl sub w/2 or more priors; Possess controlled substance; Possess unlawful paraphernalia; Vehicles to be equipped with 2 or more stoplamps.
At 10:20 p.m., the California Highway Patrol arrested David Roger Carson, 43, on Elk Valley Road. Charges: DUI alcohol.
