Charges: Possess controlled substance; Prohibited person own/possess/etc ammunition/etc; Felon/addict/possess/etc firearm; PRCS violation; Obstruct/resist/etc public/peace officer/emergency med tech - Simple (2 counts); Possess unlawful paraphernalia.
At 6:15 p.m., the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office arrested Douglas Eli Rice, 34, on El Dorado. Charges: Arrange/go to meeting with minor; Contact minor with intent sex; Continuous sexual abuse of child - Rape (2 counts); Prevent/dissuade victim/witness; Lewd and lascivious acts with child under 14 w/force/etc - Rape; Molest vic -18 unlw entry - Fondling; Poss/etc obs mtr: mnr: sex; Lewd or lascivious acts w/child under 14 years - Rape. Bail was set at $1,500,000.

At 10:55 p.m., the Crescent City Police Department arrested Julio Cesar Garcia-gamez, 34, in the 800 block of Northcrest Drive. Charges: Carry concealed dirk or dagger; Violation parole: felony.
