At 8:18 a.m., caller reported a burglary at Sea Escape Motel on the 15300 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Smith River. A trespass warning was issued.
At 12:22 p.m., caller reported suspicious circumstances at Clifford Kamph on the 15100 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Smith River. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
At 2:20 p.m., caller reported an assault on the 200 block of Maiden Lane near Crescent City. Civil advice was given.
At 3:58 p.m., officers made a traffic stop at F Street and 7th Street in Crescent City. A warning was given.

At 11:25 p.m., the California Highway Patrol arrested Glen Alan Givler, 67, on Oceanview Drive. Charges: Carry loaded firearm in public under specific circumstances; Carry concealed weapon in vehicle; Poss controlled substance while armed w/loaded firearm; Fail to appear after written promise (2 counts); Possess controlled substance (3 counts); Bench warrant/failure to appear on misdemeanor charge (2 counts); Possess unlawful paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,000.
