College of the Redwoods holds spring Career Exploration Day

College of the Redwoods will hold a Career Exploration Day for current, prospective, and former students in the CR Learning Resource Center on the main Eureka Campus on March 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local businesses and organizations to learn about career opportunities and how CR short-term certificate programs, degrees and transfer opportunities can help them gain the skills and knowledge they look for in a successful employee.

Advisors will be on hand to answer questions and help attendees understand the processes related to achievement of their goals, leading to improved careers.

Additionally, Health Occupations programs and employer partners will be concentrated in the Applied Technology building where current Nursing/Dental/EMT students can mingle with industry reps, and interested students can learn how CR’s programs lead directly to fulfilling careers!

For more information, or to arrange for your business to participate in the fair, please contact the CR Career Center at 707-476-4308, or email [email protected]
