When You Grow Weary – Do Not Give Up

Have you ever noticed that sometimes in your life, you find that you are growing weary? Maybe you find you do not have the energy you once had. Maybe you do not have the drive you once had. Maybe you find your passion has faded. I think we have all been there at one time or another. We can all probably relate to what I am talking about.

Galatians 6:9 in the KJV tells us “and let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not.” Let us not grow weary. Do not allow yourself to give up on the direction God has you going. God placed a passion in each one of us. Your passion is the thing that drives you to continue to get up in the morning. Drives you to continue to fast and pray! Drives you to keep moving and not give up.

How do we keep moving? How do we not give up? We find away to keep the passion alive inside of us. When it seems, we are stalled and not moving along, we must remember that the Lord is able to get us to the next step. I think a lot of the time we give up because we have been trying to get to our goals in our own strength. It is like we forget that He placed that passion inside of us in the first place. If He placed it, then He will help us complete it.

One thing we can remember is that God is faithful. What He starts He finishes! That passion that He placed in you is there for a purpose. When we seek Him, we are renewed. When we ask for direction, He gives it! When we seek His will in the situation we can be assured, He will answer!

This week instead of focusing on the area that is causing up to be weary, let’s turn it around and give God glory for the passion he placed in us. Let’s thank Him for getting us this far! Let’s spend time in prayer with Him! Let’s turn all of our projects and passions over to Him. Let Him guide us, let Him refresh us, let Him be our strength. Then the answers will come, the project will move along, and His plans for us will come to fruition.

Dear Lord, be our strength this week. In Jesus Name Amen!
