Tickets go on sale for annual Candlelight Walk in Prairie Creek redwoods
CRESCENT CITY, Calif. – Tickets are now on sale for Redwood Parks Conservancy’s 37th Annual Candlelight Walk Through the Ancient Redwoods, returning to Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park on Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each night.
The Candlelight Walk is a fundraiser for Redwood Parks Conservancy (RPC), with ticket proceeds supporting RPC’s work helping care for and protect Redwood National and State Parks. The timed-entry, self-guided event takes place along a 1/3-mile stretch of the ADA-accessible Revelation and Redwood Access Trails, illuminated by twinkling string lights.
Guests can also enjoy traditional and Indigenous stories from local storytellers, hot apple cider and cookies, making for a memorable evening among the ancient redwoods.
Two entry groups are available each night: Group 1 at 4 p.m. and Group 2 at 6 p.m. Check-in takes place at the booth outside the Prairie Creek Visitor Center prior to each timed entry. Per park policy, pets are not permitted at the event.
Admission is $30 per person, with children 12 and under attending for free (each child must have a ticket). Attendance is limited to 300 guests per night, and tickets are expected to sell quickly.
