Position Yourself to Receive Miracles from the Father

By Daphne Cortese-Lambert

Are you ready for adventure? Then, live your best life and receive God’s marvelous grace. It is time to stop struggling to survive and position yourself for miracles. “For He says, I listened to you at the time of my favor. And the day when you needed salvation, I came to your aid. So, can’t you see? Now is the time to respond to His favor! Now is the time of salvation!” (2 Cor. 6:2). The Greek word for salvation is sozo and it means to save, rescue, heal and make whole. No matter what you are going through, there is hope that comes from God’s grace (unmerited favor) waiting for you to partake. Positioning yourself for favor requires a response.

Miracles are supernatural breakthrough in impossible situations, and they are a normal part of being a Christian. So, why aren’t we seeing them?

Imagine a child who wants to go to Disneyland, packs his toys, and sets out alone toward that destination. Before long, he would become tired, lost, hungry, and discouraged—and eventually give up. We often approach life the same way: full of dreams and longing to see God’s miracles, yet without properly responding to His call. Preparation and clear direction position you to experience miracles beyond your expectations.

How do you respond to life’s challenges? I encourage you to respond from your identity as a child of God. In the midst of your struggle, He is calling you: “I heard Your voice in my heart say, ‘Come seek My face,’ and my inner being responded, ‘Yahweh, I’m seeking Your face with all my heart’” (Ps. 27:8). Respond with a desire to seek God and an attitude of excitement to see what God can do when you surrender your will to His in humble sincerity and confidence. “Yet as God’s servants we prove ourselves authentic in every way. For example: We have great endurance in hardships and in persecutions. We don’t lose courage in a time of stress and calamity” (2 Cor. 6:4).

Grace and unmerited favor are like a door waiting for you to walk through, and obedience is the path that leads you there. Like a child headed to Disneyland, we can miss that some of the greatest joy is found in the journey with our beloved Father and in the memories made along the way. Your Father longs to walk with you through every difficulty, turning those moments into miracles as you trust Him to lead you to your destination.
