Del Norte reported two new cases of COVID-19 on July 10
The Del Norte County Public Health Branch reported two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today. However, both cases have completed isolation and are recovered.
One of the cases was acquired while traveling out of the area and the other was a household member of the positive case.
"Due to the lag time between commercial testing and reporting, both of these new cases have completed their isolation period and are recovered," the report said. "Close contacts have been identified and contact tracing is underway. All active cases are in self-isolation at home."
The two latest reported cases bring the county's total confirmed cases to 60, of which 53 are recovered and considered inactive. There are seven active cases, but no current hospitalizations. There have been no deaths in Del Norte County attributed to COVID-19.
