Vessel Awarded to Del Norte Sheriff Search snd Rescue

The California Boating Waterways Pool of Agencies has awarded the Search and Rescue division of the Del Norte Sheriff’s Office, a 28’ Seach and Rescue vessel with just 40 hours on the 371 cubic inch engine.

The vessel was originally awarded to Siskiyou County Search and Rescue  but Siskiyou had limited use for the vessel. The vessel is fully equipped with radio and navigational tools.

Deputy Tyler Balch  oversees Search and Resue and Marine operations.
