• Preserved History: Ghosts thrive in environments that remain largely unchanged and still feel familiar to them.
• Sudden Cold Spots: Stepping into a localized, freezing pocket of air often signals a nearby spectral presence.
• K-2 Meters: These devices track sudden spikes in electromagnetic fields, which are frequently linked to spirits.
• Spirit Boxes (SB7): Also called EVP amplifiers, these capture real‑time spectral voices, a phenomenon Garcia and his tour guests have personally witnessed.
Voices and Presence
Once during a ghost tour, Garcia and the participants spoke with a ghost through the spirit box, who claimed to be a dead lumberjack. When asked if he had a wife, the ghost answered, “Yes.” Another disembodied voice was asked how many children they had.
