Wednesday, May 27
At 4:42 a.m., a resident in the 500 block of Hoover Avenue reported spotting a suspicious vehicle parked in the area with two subjects in dark clothing running to and from the car.
At 8:16 a.m., a resident in the 12400 block of U.S. Highway 101 reported he believed some items were stolen from his house.
At 8:39 a.m., a resident in the 700 block of L Street reported that someone smashed her window and stole her purse.
At 9:15 a.m., a resident in the 600 block of Bertsch Avenue reported while he was in the hospital, someone stole his pistol.
At 11:06 a.m., a resident in the 1100 block of 3rd Street reported someone ran into his girlfriend’s car and fled before she could get insurance information.
At 12:55 p.m., a report of dogs in the roadway in the 300 block of Redwood Road.
At 2:41 p.m., a report of a female subject stole a sweater and speaker from the 600 block of U.S. Highway 101.
At 3:55 p.m., a report of a female in a vehicle in the ditch in the Lesina Drive area.
At 4:46 p.m., a resident in the 1100 block of Williams Drive reported her cousin hired a hitman to kill someone.
At 5:44 p.m., a resident in the 5900 block of Lower Lake Road reported that her brother’s chainsaw was stolen from the front yard.
At 8:01 p.m., someone reported being assaulted by a female subject who left on foot in the 600 block of H Street.
At 11:32 p.m., a report of a fully engulfed trailer fire in the 1000 block of Butte Street.
Thursday, May 28
At 4:33 a.m., staff in the 300 block of U. S. Highway 101 requested the removal of a subject who was taking his clothes off.
At 12:36 p.m., a resident in the 6900 block of Lake Earl Drive requested assistance with the removal of a motorhome driven on to his property.
At 2:34 p.m., a resident in the 300 block of National Street reported someone broke into a fishing boat on the property and stole several items.
At 3:27 p.m., a hypodermic needle was found at Pacific and H streets.
At 6:27 p.m., a report of a subject bit by a dog in the 1600 block of Railroad Avenue.
At 8:48 p.m., a resident in the 12700 block of Indian Road in Smith River reported her daughter had a bat and was smashing out her car windows.
At 10:03 p.m., a report of shots heard in the area of Northcrest and Old Mill drives.
Friday, May 29
At 8:34 a.m., a report of a fire in the 2500 block of Elk Valley Road.
At 8:44 a.m., staff requested the removal a subject sleeping in the back doorway of the library at 1080 Mason Mall.
At 11:25 a.m., a report that a shed was broken into at a school in the 1200 block of Glenn Street.
At 11:44 a.m., a report of ongoing vandalism and trespassing with a subject possibly living in a shed in the First Street area of Smith River.
At 1:42 p.m., a female subject in the 1000 block of 9th Street reported that someone was following her and possibly has a firearm.
At 2:53 p.m., a report of a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 101 at mile post 26.99, with one patient with a head injury and fluid leaking on the roadway from a semi truck.
At 3:59 p.m., a report of two trailers broken into at 9th and G streets.
At 4:12 p.m., a report of hypodermic needles, credit cards and an ID found on a property in the 200 block of Meridian.
At 4:48 p.m., a report of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries at 3rd and L streets.
At 6:11 p.m., a report of motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries in the 1100 block of 3rd Street.
Saturday, May 30
At 12:13 a.m., staff in the 1200 block of Marshall Street requested the removal of an aggressive subject.
At 12:17 p.m., a report of a reckless driver who passed five motorists over the double yellow line, swerving at a high rate of speed, at U.S. Highway 199 and 197.
At 2:14 p.m., a report of a reckless driving heading toward town from U.S. Highway 101.
At 2:15 p.m., a report of a guest who left a loaded firearm in a room in the 100 block of Walton Street.
At 2:54 p.m., a report of a wedding taking place in the 200 block of U.S. Highway 101.
At 3:14 p.m., a report of a shed in the 100 block of Vivienne Lane broken into and several tools taken.
At 4:55 p.m., a resident in the 700 block of Cooper Avenue reported catching a dog, but cannot care for it and is requesting assistance turning it over to animal control.
At 6:12 p.m., a report of two thefts in a store in the 700 block of L Street.
At 7:30 p.m., staff in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard reported having a subject in custody for shoplifting.
AT 9:46 p.m., a report of a single vehicle in a ditch in on U.S. Highway 199 near Walker Road.
At 10:39 p.m., a report of gunshots or fireworks in the area of the 700 block of Keller Avenue.
Sunday, May 31
At 3:40 a.m., a resident in the 200 block of Washington Boulevard reported a group of juveniles woke her whole house up and was throwing things at the house and her vehicle.
At 9:26 a.m., a resident in the 1300 block of Elk Valley Road reported his wife was bit by one of the neighbor’s dogs.
At 10:36 a.m., a report of a male subject sleeping on a bench in the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 101 with several hypodermic needles around him.
At 11:36 a.m., reports from the 400 block of U.S. Highway 101 reported a subject in a car pointed a gun at them.
At 11:37 a.m., a report of a fight in the 1000 block of Humboldt Street.
At 12:23 p.m., a report of a gun stolen from an office in the 400 block of H Street.
At 1:25 p.m., a report of a horse running loose in the area of Murphy Road.
At 4:39 p.m., a report of a smoking Dumpster at Harding and Marshall streets.
At 6:44 p.m., a report of shots heard in the area of Cooke and Parkway Drive.
At 8:07 p.m., a report that a some rooms in a hotel in the 400 block of U.S. Highway 101 were being used as grow rooms during the COVID-19 shutdown.
At 8:49 p.m., a shopper reported she thought someone broke her car’s windshield while she was in a store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.
At 9:33 p.m., a report of a vehicle car window just broken out in the 1100 block of Highway 101.
Monday, June 1
At 12:42 a.m., a report of a male subject impersonating a police officer in the 700 block of G Street.
At 12:58 a.m., a resident in the 1200 block of Marshall Street reported her vehicle window was broken out and a bag stolen.
At 6:27 a.m., a report that someone broke into a Conex box in the 1300 block of El Dorado Street.
At 9:09 a.m., a report of a maintenance shed broken into in the 800 block of Small Avenue.
At 9:42 a.m., a resident in the 5400 block of South Bank Road reported someone stole a humidifier from his driveway sometime overnight.
At 10:05 a.m., a resident in the 1800 block of Adams Avenue reported someone has been stealing her mail.
At 11:30 a.m., a male subject reported bumping into a female subject while shopping in the 100 block of Timbers Boulevard and now his wallet is gone.
At 11:38 a.m., a subject reported her car was vandalized after it broke down at Pebble Beach and Washington Boulevard.
At 3:59 p.m., a report of an ongoing issue of transients sleeping in the cemetery in the 800 block of First Street of Smith River.
At 4:08 p.m., a report of a purse found in the 400 block of Del Monte Street.
At 4:10 p.m., reports of a subject trying to sell drugs to children in the 9900 block of B Street Pier.
At 5:23 p.m., staff in the 1100 block of 3rd Street reported a subject tried to steal a cart full of items. The staff was able to retrieve the cart but could not apprehend the subject as he pulled a knife on them.
At 6:30 p.m., staff in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard reported a theft that occurred the day before.
At 6:41 p.m., a report of smoke spotted in the area of the 2500 block of Howland Hill Road.
At 7:54 p.m., a report of a dog running in the roadway in the 400 block of Del Norte Street.
At 7:56 p.m., staff in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard reported having a subject in custody for shoplifting and anther subject who was taking off in a vehicle.
At 9:04 p.m., a report of an intoxicated subject who brandished a knife and refused to leave a park in the 100 block of Elk Valley Road.
At 9:12 p.m., a report of an illegal burn in the 600 block of Elk Valley Road.
At 9:44 p.m., a subject reported that someone may have broken into a house she’s watching in the 1500 block of El Monte Street as the kitchen lights are on and she left them off.
At 10:20 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Macken Avenue reported someone has been trespassing in her backyard and using the hot tub.
At 10:23 p.m., a report of mail stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Cummins Road.
At 10:53 p.m., a report of suspected gunshots in the 2200 block of Harmony Lane.
Tuesday, June 2
At 1:15 a.m., a report of a possible body found on the beach in the Point St George Drive area.
At 6:42 a.m., a report of a broken window of a business in the 1200 block of 2nd Street.
At 9:47 a.m., a resident in the 500 block of L Street reported his bike was stolen a couple days ago.
At 11:31 a.m., a report of a male subject that pitched a tent in a parking lot in the 800 block of H Street because county parks were closed.
At 2:08 p.m., a resident in the 900 block of Butte Street requested the removal of a subject who parked an RV on the property and won’t leave.
At 5:23 p.m., a report of subject who stole a bag of chips and a soda from a business in the 12500 block of U.S. Highway 101.
At 5:46 p.m., a report of a vehicle broken into at the Myrtle Beach Turnout in Gasquet.
At 6:40 p.m., a report of a male subject who stole several items from a store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard and took off in a vehicle.
At 7:37 p.m., a report of a male subject who stole some items from a store in the 900 block of Northcrest Drive.
At 9:48 p.m., a highly intoxicated subject in the 700 block of 9th Street was making continuous calls to law enforcement without any need for fire, medical or law enforcement services.
