School Board accepting nominations for open position

The Del Norte County Office of Education and Unified School District are seeking nominations for the vacant seat for the Board of Education Trustees position 4. Board member Roger Daley submitted his official resignation to move to Reno, Nevada, and the School Board took action Jan. 23 to accept that resignation.

If you have a nomination, contact district officials at 707-464-0200. Once the application is available, an official will contact nominees to complete the application process.

To be considered, candidates must reside within the boundaries of area 4.

The deadline for applications is Feb. 12.
