Found Agate Theatre presents “3 Plays” by Howard R. Patterson

Join in for an evening of three short plays by local writer, director, and actor Howard R. Patterson. Each of the three short plays celebrates humans and their stories. Shows are Friday and Saturday nights, August 12 - August 20, at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee Sunday August 14 at 2 p.m. Shows will be held at 225 I Street (enter through the back entrance at Pacific Northwest Physical Therapy). Tickets are available at the door, or at Del Norte Office Supply starting August 1. The show contains adult humor and language.

DiRT & GLiTTER presents “In Our Veins: a Guided Riverside Performance Tour”

DiRT & GLiTTER announces the world premiere of “In Our Veins”, an immersive and unique riverside performance-adventure tour featuring live comedy, music, and dance with eight acts by local and regional artists. This guided tour experience on the Smith River will be held August 13 - 14, with audience members being rafted up the remote South Fork Smith canyon by adventure outfitters Redwood Rides and ushered to performances along the river banks. Student Chamber Concert

Redfish Music Festival presents a Student Chamber concert on Friday August 5, 7:00 pm, at United Methodist Church in Smith River. Tickets are $15 each at the door or through Eventbrite. Children under 18 are free. For more information visit redfishmusicfestival.com.

Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness (DNACA) is now offering Pre-Sale tickets for their upcoming 2022-23 Performance Season. When you purchase a Pre-Sale ticket, which are available before the specific season artists are announced, you enjoy substantial savings over a regular season ticket. This season includes artists presenting neo-soul/R&B music and dance, indigenous contemporary folk, Celtic music, a Grammy-winning artist sharing a legendary musician’s catalog, and an eclectic adventure with an electric cello! DNACA’s 31st Annual Juried Art Exhibition - Call for Artists  

Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness (DNACA) is seeking artists from Del Norte County and Curry County for their 31st Annual Juried Art Exhibition. Intake is at the Del Norte County Courthouse August 18, 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Entry fee is $10 per artwork, and artists may submit up to two (2) pieces, wired for hanging. Artwork that is juried into the show will remain on display at the Del Norte Courthouse through September 29, 2022. 7th Annual Art from the Inside Exhibit

Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness (DNACA) presents their 7th Annual “Art From the Inside” Exhibition, at the Del Norte Courthouse from June 16 - August 11, 2022. The exhibit features artworks created in Visual Arts workshops at Pelican Bay State Prison. This program provides arts workshops at all 33 state prisons as a way to reduce recidivism rates and prevent violence within prisons. The courthouse is located at 450 H St. in Crescent City, and is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. weekdays, except for state holidays.
