Del Norte County Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop on Iowa St. near Elk Valley Rd. last week. The driver William Shane Johnson, 40, was arrested with almost 41 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Johnson was booked in at the Del Norte County Jail for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violation and displaying false registration.
