Thursday, Oct. 8

At 12:41 a.m., officers checked on a pedestrian at Humboldt Road and State Street near Crescent City.

At 1:01 a.m., officers checked on a vehicle at Elk Valley Rancheria on the 2300 block of Howland Hill Road near Crescent City. Everything checked out.

At 3:20 a.m., officers checked on a pedestrian at B&n Market near Alder Road and Lake Earl Drive near Crescent City. Everything checked out.

At 4:04 a.m., caller reported a suspicious subject at Redwood Rv Resort on the 100 block of Starfish Wy near Crescent City. Everything checked out.

At 4:06 a.m., officers checked on a vehicle at Humboldt Road and Howland Hill Road near Crescent City. Everything checked out.

At 3:20 p.m., caller reported suspicious circumstances at Walmart on the 900 block of East Washington Boulevard near Crescent City. The call was canceled before officers arrived.

At 4:54 p.m., caller reported a disturbance on the 9800 block of Highway 199 in Hiouchi.

At 5:04 p.m., caller reported a theft at Hiouchi Hamlet / Chevron on the 2100 block of Highway 199 in Hiouchi.

At 5:09 p.m., caller reported a possible physical fight at Gasquet Market on the 10300 block of Highway 199 in Gasquet. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

At 10:06 p.m., caller reported a disturbance on the 300 block of North Pebble Beach Drive in Crescent City. A report was taken.

At 10:31 p.m., caller reported a disturbance at Totem Villa on the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Crescent City. The parties were advised.

At 10:45 p.m., officers checked on a pedestrian at Home Depot on the 500 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Crescent City. Everything checked out.

At 11:56 p.m., caller reported a disturbance on the 800 block of South Fred Haight Drive in Smith River. Everything checked out.

Arrests

At 12:10 p.m., the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office arrested Estanislao Hernandez, 63. Charges: Take/etc undersized/etc dungeness crab (2 counts).

At 7:40 p.m., the Crescent City Police Department arrested Joshua Lucas Scott, 45, on U.S. Highway 101. Charges: Bench warrant/failure to appear on felony charge; PRCS violation; Shoplifting aftr spec off. Bail was set at $7,500.

At 7:52 p.m., the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office arrested Leland Christopher Oscar, 59, on Leclair Avenue. Charges: Bench warrant/failure to appear on felony charge; Disorderly conduct: alcohol; Obstruct/resist/etc public/peace officer/emergency med tech - Simple.
