Excerpts from the call logs and jail bookings of Del Norte County law-enforcement agencies:

Friday, Oct. 16

At 12:25 a.m., officers checked on a pedestrian at Transfer Station on the 1700 block of State Street in Crescent City.

At 9:19 a.m., caller reported vandalism on the 1700 block of Ashford Road near Crescent City.

At 10:23 a.m., caller reported a burglary at Grilled Chic on the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 101 in Crescent City.

At 11:02 a.m., caller requested the removal of a subject on the 100 block of Harbor View Drive near Crescent City. A trespass warning was issued.

At 11:06 a.m., caller requested the removal of a subject at Stallant Health on the 500 block of East Washington Boulevard near Crescent City. No action was taken.

At 12:13 p.m., caller reported trespassing on the 100 block of North Brookings Avenue in Smith River. Officers assisted.

At 12:42 p.m., officers made a traffic stop at Fort Dick Market on the 6600 block of Lake Earl Drive in Fort Dick. The subject was moved along.

At 12:59 p.m., officers made a traffic stop at Lake Earl Drive and Lower Lake Road in Fort Dick. A warning was given.

At 1:10 p.m., caller reported a theft on the 1400 block of Parkway Drive near Crescent City. No action was taken.

At 4:51 p.m., caller requested the removal of a subject on the 200 block of Dundas Road near Crescent City. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

At 5:21 p.m., caller reported fraud on the 200 block of Struebing Drive in Smith River.

At 5:58 p.m., caller reported harassment at Madrone Mobile Home Park on the 2500 block of Highway 199 in Hiouchi. A trespass warning was issued.

At 9:47 p.m., officers checked on a pedestrian at Chevron South / Aztec Grill / Redwood Ma on the 300 block of U.S. Highway 101 near Crescent City.

At 10:04 p.m., caller requested the removal of a subject on the 300 block of Buzzini Road near Crescent City.

Arrests

At 1:45 a.m., the Crescent City Police Department arrested Spencer Carl Ansell, 47, on U.S. Highway 101. Charges: Disorderly conduct: intox drug with alcohol; Contempt of court: violate protective order/etc. Bail was set at $10,000.

At 5 a.m., the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office arrested Layla Lynn Strnad, 31. Charges: Possess unlawful paraphernalia; Possess narcotic controlled substance.

At 5:37 a.m., the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office arrested Stanley Joe Stevens, 42, on J Street. Charges: PRCS violation; Possess unlawful paraphernalia; Obstruct/resist/etc public/peace officer/emergency med tech - Simple.

At 3:10 p.m., Arthur Tracey Caseres Iii, 58 was booked into jail by order of Del Norte County Superior Court. Charges: Driving when privileges suspended/revoked, other than DUI.

At 6:45 p.m., the Crescent City Police Department arrested Michael Layton Mather, 49, on Northcrest. Charges: Disorderly conduct: intox drug with alcohol.

At 7:10 p.m., the Crescent City Police Department arrested Timothy Cummings, 38, on M Street. Charges: Unlawfl poss/use tear gas; Bench warrant/failure to appear on misdemeanor charge; Shoplifting. Bail was set at $15,000.
