Excerpts from the call logs and jail bookings of Del Norte County law-enforcement agencies:

Thursday, Oct. 22

At 11:49 a.m., officers made a traffic stop at Elk Valley Road and Maiden Lane near Crescent City. A warning was given.

At 5:19 p.m., caller reported an assault at Ruth Compound on the 1400 block of Union Street near Crescent City. A citation was issued.

At 7:26 p.m., caller reported trespassing on the 1900 block of Northcrest Drive near Crescent City. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

At 8:24 p.m., officers made a traffic stop at Elk Valley Fuel Mart on the 1000 block of Elk Ranch Road in Crescent City. A warning was given.

At 9:40 p.m., caller reported a disturbance on the 300 block of Terwer Riffle Road in Klamath. An arrest was made.

Arrests

At 12:50 p.m., the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office arrested Robert Anthony Dale, 31, on Josephine County Jail. Charges: PRCS violation.

At 1:25 p.m., the Del Norte County District Attorney's Office arrested Payden Bjornestad, 35, on Dnso Lobby. Charges: DUI alcohol/0.08 percent; DUI alcohol.

At 1:30 p.m., Stephen Wayne Barrett, 59 was booked into jail by order of Del Norte County Superior Court. Charges: Fail to provide proof of insurance to peace officer; Driving when privileges suspended/revoked, other than DUI.

At 4:30 p.m., the California Department of Fish and Wildlife arrested Kenneth Marshall David Varney, 32, on Harbor. Charges: Take/etc undersized/etc dungeness crab (2 counts).

At 5:20 p.m., the Crescent City Police Department arrested Stanley Joe Stevens, 42, on U.S. Highway 101. Charges: Possess controlled substance; PRCS violation.

At 11:15 p.m., the California Highway Patrol arrested Mariano Alexander Caldera, 31, on Elk Valley Fuel Mart. Charges: DUI alcohol/0.08 percent; DUI alcohol.

At 11:19 p.m., the Yurok Tribal Police arrested Robert Santos, 21, on Terwer Riffle Road. Charges: Disorderly conduct: alcohol.
