Excerpts from the call logs and jail bookings of Del Norte County law-enforcement agencies:

Friday, Nov. 6

At 12:17 a.m., caller reported suspicious circumstances at Dennys Restaurant on the 1200 block of 5th Street in Crescent City. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

At 3:54 a.m., officers checked on a pedestrian at Glenn Street and Hamilton Avenue near Crescent City.

At 3:58 a.m., officers checked on a vehicle on the 1300 block of J Street near Crescent City. An arrest was made.

At 7:48 a.m., caller reported suspicious circumstances at El Dorado Street and Hamilton Avenue near Crescent City. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

At 9:35 a.m., caller reported a disturbance on the 200 block of Maiden Lane near Crescent City.

At 12:50 p.m., officers made a traffic stop at Lake Earl Drive and Malone Road in Fort Dick. A warning was given.

At 1:29 p.m., caller requested the removal of a subject on the 400 block of El Dorado Street near Crescent City. A report was taken.

At 7:32 p.m., caller reported a disturbance at West Madison Avenue and El Monte Road near Crescent City. The subject was moved along.

At 8:27 p.m., caller reported suspicious circumstances at 5th Street and D Street in Crescent City.

Arrests

At 12:20 a.m., the California Highway Patrol arrested James Dufay, 63, on U.S. Highway 101. Charges: DUI alcohol/0.08 percent; DUI alcohol.

At 4:41 a.m., the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office arrested Jake Marcel Edward Dionne, 36, on J Street. Charges: Probation violation: rearrest/revoke; Possess unlawful paraphernalia; Possess narcotic controlled substance; Possess controlled substance.

At 2:16 p.m., the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office arrested Jerry Allen Merriam, 62, on Small Avenue. Charges: Burglary: second degree - Burglary/breaking and entering; Trespass: destroy standing timber.

At 6:20 p.m., the Crescent City Police Department arrested Ernesto Vargas, 28, on Pacific. Charges: Disorderly conduct: alcohol.

At 7:17 p.m., Alicia Nellie Natt, 31 was booked into jail by order of Del Norte County Superior Court. Charges: Battery: spouse/ex spouse/date/etc - Aggravated; Obstruct/resist exec ofcr - Aggravated (2 counts); Driving while license supspended for DUI.
