Letter: Let prisoners hear from you, that you care

Dear Editor: We need to look at the inmates who are in our prisons and jails. Many don’t have anyone to communicate with.

I know there are pen pals who write to prisoners, so why don’t the churches? They all need someone to write, too.

Many prisoners have no one in their life. They’re paying for their crimes. We, as society, have to let them know we care about them. They’re lonely.

I write to someone. There are many who would like to hear from someone.
