Breaking the Cycle of Failure
The time has come to reclaim the California Dream, and your mail-in ballot is the key to making it happen! If you haven’t received your ballot yet, do not wait—contact the county Registrar of Voters immediately to ensure your voice is heard at this critical moment. This year’s list of candidates for Governor is frankly obscene, but the solution is clear: we must stop filling in circles for the very same people who have spent years dismantling the promise of our state.
True change is finally within reach if we rally behind Steve Hilton for Governor, a leader who respects our community so much that he visited Del Norte County twice and even chose Crescent City to announce his historic run. He is joined by his running mate, Gloria Romero, a former democrat legislator who had the courage to walk away from a party that abandoned common sense in favor of special interests and wasteful projects like the infamous “High- Speed Rail to Nowhere”. Together, they represent a bold departure from the status quo.
The fight for accountability continues down the ballot with Don Wagner for Secretary of State, who is committed to ensuring fair elections where only eligible voters—and certainly not dogs—can cast a ballot, while also demanding a full investigation into the voting discrepancies as seen in Riverside County. For the vital role of State Controller, Herb Morgan is the champion we need to finally bring fiscal management back to California after fifteen long years of government agencies operating without true accountability.
In the battle for our children’s future, Sonja Shaw is the “Mama Bear” standing up against a failed education system that has been dictated by unions and political games for over a decade. Unlike the incumbents who created this mess, Shaw fights for parental rights, local control, and the protection of girls’ sports and private spaces, ensuring that biological boys do not displace our daughters from their scholarships or personal triumphs.
We must also strengthen our local and legislative leadership by supporting county supervisors Chris Howard, who masterfully navigates the politics of securing county funds, and Joey Borges, the dedicated worker operating behind the scenes to achieve our community goals. Rounding out this common-sense ticket are Tief Gibbs for Senate, Mike Greer for Assembly, and take a look at independent Nicolette Niman for the House of Representatives. Remember that keeping incumbents in state office has been a disaster for achieving the “California Dream”, and now is the time to vote for the change California desperately needs.
